These Terms of Service (“Terms”) apply to your use of clubcerts.com, including signing in with Google and using our event playlists. By using the website or signing in, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.
Who can use Clubcerts
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or attend our events.
Your account
- You sign in using your Google account. You are responsible for keeping your Google account secure and for everything done through your Clubcerts account.
- One account per person. Do not create multiple accounts or use someone else’s account.
- We may suspend or delete accounts that break these Terms.
Event playlists
- Signed-in patrons can suggest songs for upcoming events by sharing links from streaming platforms, and can like songs suggested by others.
- Each person has a limited number of suggestions per event, and you cannot like your own suggestion.
- Suggestions and likes close when the event starts.
- The most-liked songs are planned for peak time, other liked songs for before or after peak, and songs with no likes are not planned to be played. The playlist guides our DJs, but it is not a guarantee. The DJ has the final say on what is played and when, based on timing, crowd, sound quality, venue rules and the flow of the night.
Rules for using the website
You agree not to:
- Use bots, scripts, fake accounts or any other method to inflate likes or manipulate playlists
- Submit links to content that is illegal, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, or that you know infringes someone else’s rights
- Try to hack, overload, or interfere with the website or other users’ accounts
- Use the website for spam or advertising
We may remove any song suggestion or like, at any time and for any reason, including to keep playlists fair and appropriate for the event.
Content you submit
When you submit a song link, you allow us to display the song’s title, artist, artwork and a preview player on our website for that event’s playlist. The music itself belongs to its artists and rights holders; we only show publicly available information provided by the streaming platforms.
Third-party services
Sign-in is provided by Google, and song information and previews come from streaming platforms such as Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube and SoundCloud. Your use of those services is covered by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for them.
Tickets and events
Event tickets, entry, refunds and venue rules are covered by the terms shown when you buy a ticket and by the rules of each venue. Event details such as dates, times, line-ups and themes may change.
Disclaimer
The website and playlists are provided “as is”. We do our best to keep them working and accurate, but we do not promise that the website will always be available or error-free, or that any particular song will be played.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Clubcerts is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the website or playlists. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be excluded.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the website after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Jamaica.
